Leadership Through Quality

Founded in 1976, QMS has pioneered development of innovative products for renal dialysis treatment and management.

QMS founder John Sargent, Ph.D., is well known for developing techniques with Frank Gotch, M.D., for the kinetic modeling of urea and other solutes and drugs. Urea kinetic techniques guided The National Cooperative Dialysis Study (NCDS) from 1976 to 1982. They form the basis for the quantitative guidance of dialysis in current practice.

QMS has consistently developed products in response to the changing medical environment. In 1979 QMS introduced QMS Focus, a clinical and financial management system. Its latest generation -- incorporating state-of-the-art technology -- is QMS Focus.

QMS has enjoyed steady growth, and has been consistently profitable.
